Having lived in Sarasota since 1998 and being a real estate investor herself, Joanne is deeply familiar with the local market and its changes. Born in Texas and raised in Taiwan, South Korea, and eventually, Northern Virginia, her father's military and government civil service career coupled with her mother’s Vietnamese heritage provided Joanne with a unique upbringing that contributed to her love of travel and culture.

She moved to Sarasota in her 20s and has had the opportunity see Sarasota grow into the vibrant community it is today. In her free time, Joanne loves to read and learn about health and wellness, design and remodel homes - her own and her friend’s, and spend time with her husband, daughter, and 2 pugs.

Joanne previously owned several highly successful businesses in Sarasota, Venice, and Orlando, including clothing stores and auto dealerships specializing in vans for people with mobility challenges.
